Technologies for Remote Rehabilitation Assessment Database

29 Sep 2021

A new free to access technology database has been released from team working at Cardiff University. This database lists commercially available tools and technologies for patient rehabilitation, and suitable for use outside of a clinical setting e.g. home or in the community. The technologies focus on the rehabilitation of musculoskeletal conditions, COVID-19 related deconditioning, and aquired brain injuries.

The development of this free to access resource was kindly supported by funding from the Welsh Government Ser Cymru III programme under the project award ‘Clinical acceptance of technology in remote rehabilitation assessment: addressing urgent COVID challenges to drive future technology transfer’. This project was the result of a collaboration between Cardiff University and Cardiff and Vale University Health Board Rehabilitation Engineering Unit.

Access to the database can be found here: https://cardiff-rehab-tech.co.uk/
