The OATech+ Network presented research project updates at BORS 2021 Virtual Conference.

Research updates included a presentation from Professor Richard Jones on a scoping review research study run between University of Salford and University of Edinburgh with Dr David Hamilton and named, ‘The use of technology within lifestyle interventions in osteoarthritis’.

Also presenting was Lucinda Evans on the research work led by Professor Andrew Pitsillides and Dr Eva Herbst at Royal Vetinary College named, ‘Do age-related epiphyseal bone differences in osteoarthritic SRT/Ort versus healthy mouse tibias reveal future imaging biomarkers?’ This is related to the Pump Priming no. 10 with recent method publication here. 

A keynote lecture was given by Emeritus Professor Tom Andriacchi from Stanford University named, ‘Bridging disciplines as a pathway to finding new solutions for osteoarthritis’.
